I recently enjoyed the privilege of meeting more than 100 readers and about a dozen fellow authors at a Global Girls Online Book Club lunch in Sydney.
Asked by organiser Jackie Claridge-Wood which book we’d prefer to read for Christmas — thriller or romance — my answer was swift, because romance is thrilling.
Just when you think romance might have passed you by, your life can change in an instant. It happens in books, and it happens in real life.
