Fresh House of Jewels series ‘cover reveal’

When I wrote House of Diamonds it was obvious to me that James Huntley’s bad boy brother Will demanded his own story—hence Houses of Hearts.

By then, James’s sweetheart Stella’s mother, serial single Flame, intrigued me so much that House of Spades was born. Under what circumstances might Flame finally find a life partner, even when she wasn’t seeking one? The House of Jewels series welcomed widower Ross Archer.

Of course, James Huntley’s mother then deserved her own story. Why, after a lifetime selling jewelry at Huntleys House of Diamonds in sunny Sydney, would anyone turn their backs on quiet retirement in Australia’s Southern Highlands and move to France? House of Clubs arrived in my mind, scene by scene, along with the gallant Émile Laurent.

With all suits covered, I thought my House of Jewels series was complete.

However, one of my VIP readers disagreed, and when she came up with the title Full House, I couldn’t resist.

Full House presented me with a fresh challenge. The first four books are each told in two voices—his and hers—so I now had to tell a story from multiple points of view.

I’ve aimed to write each book in the series as a stand-alone, with the series accessible in any order, so Full House had to introduce the same full set of characters and their own fresh challenges without too much repetition.

While it undergoes its final edits, I’m thrilled to share with you this cover, designed by the talented Kylie Sek of Cover Culture.
